FRED Acronyms

  One of the first things I noticed as I started to looking at FRED acronyms is that the term is used by many people.   I quickly found 126 unique FRED acronyms.  From engineering to economics, from faith to science, from medicine to the law, from my hometown to places around the world, I found examples of people using the FRED acronym everywhere.  As it turns out, FRED is perhaps the easiest four-letter combination to type.  That is, geographically it takes up the least space on a QWERTY keyboard.  Each of its letters are next to each other and FRED can by typed with a single counter-clockwise trip.  One is hard pressed to find another four-letter example that can be created by a single spin (clockwise or counter-clockwise).
