Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the 1600 Standard study app handles your information. It applies to the mobile app published by Fredesser, including its math, SAT, AP, CLEP, and DSST study features.

Last updated: September 28, 2026

In short: Your answers, study history, skill progress, and app preferences are stored on your device. You can use the app without an account or giving us an email address. The app does not use advertising or analytics services to collect your study activity.

Information kept on your device

The app saves your answers, attempts, scores, practice sessions, progress, preferences, and any parent access PIN locally so that it can resume your studies and show your progress. A parent who has access to the device and its parent view may see study activity there. We do not receive this local study record through normal use of the app.

Information we receive

1600 Standard does not require an account, name, email address, location, camera, microphone, or contact list to study. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics tools that send us your answers or study history. It does not sell your personal information.

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and the details of your question. We use that information to reply and handle your request.

Some study resources can open outside websites in your browser. Those websites have their own privacy policies. Most course content is supplied with the app; if the app retrieves a course pack from an online source, the network provider may process ordinary connection information needed to deliver it. We do not use such a request to upload your study answers.

Sharing and service providers

We do not share your on-device study record with advertisers, analytics providers, or other users. If you choose to contact us, your email provider and ours process the message to deliver it. External sites you choose to open handle data according to their own policies.

Your choices and deletion

  • In the app, open Settings → Reset learning progress to erase the learning progress stored on that device. The app tells you which progress categories it will remove before you confirm.
  • You can remove the app and its local app data using your device's uninstall controls. Device backups may be managed separately through your device or cloud backup settings.
  • If you sent us a support message and want us to delete it, contact us using the address below. We will handle the request subject to any applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Children and families

The app is designed for learning and can be used with a parent or guardian. It does not offer public profiles, chat between users, or behaviorally targeted advertising. Parents can view local learning activity through the app's parent view on the same device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or our data practices change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Any material new collection or sharing will be reflected in the app and its App Store privacy information as applicable.
